June 2010

Quanto tempo dall'ultimo post...
Julia #141, storia: Berardi-Calza, Sergio Bonelli editore.

A long time since the last post...
Some pencils from my new album of Julia, I've picked them out from the 126 pages stack trying to avoid spoliers. It's the story I mentioned here, set in the world of construction workers. A couple of dear friends of mine, architect Elena and Katia and engineer Antonio, have been of invaluable help providing dozens of pictures of a construction site they preojected, my deep gratitude goes to them !

Finally, a new post - a pleasure. I love especially the panels on the fifth page of pencils - great scene with the man and child. And the perspective in the colour panel with the policemen. Great stuff.
(Thanks, by the way, for the comment on my blog ages ago: I will post something new soon)

Amazing! Awesome work Roberto! Those lines are very well traced and the frames, the still frames movie-like as always! Roberto the Director! Those colored panels...wow! You manage to put the artistic eye so well! Congrats my friend!

Wonderful pages , nice pacing and story telling.

Ned:

ciao e grazie!

Dominic:

thanks a lot mate :)
